Horse Introductions
Each horse at Horseshoe Ridge is very different from
each other and also other horses that you have been around maybe in the
past. I would like to introduce you to the horses here and allow you to
become more familiar with them in an on-line state before meeting them
in person.
First there are three horses here at Horseshoe
Ridge at the current time. There is Sierra, Shadow and Thunder.

"Sierra" Lakota Canyon
She is a mare and was born on Feb.
29th 2004. She is a breed called Appaloosa. Normally this breed
has spots to identify them on their rump. However she currently
does not have any. Her coloration changes each year. She has other
very unique markings. She has a splash of white on here sides and
has what is a called a "glass" eye. That means she has
a brown and blue eye. Both eyes work very well and this coloration
makes her unique. Sierra is an attention getter. She will be the
first to come and greet you. She is curious, loving and very responsive
to people. She is a gentle ride with medium gate.

"Shadow" Wind Canyon
He is a gelded (castrated) male. He was born on
March 31st 2004. His breed is called quarter horse. He is the dark
chestnut colored horse. He is the taller horse of them all. He is
friendly but cautious around new people. His curiosity however,
will win over his cautiousness and he will then approach. He is
ridden only by Chaz. The reason that he is only ridden by Chaz is
that owner/horse relationship is important and forms a bond that
the horse grows to know the nuances of one rider.
